Lightweight AluminumCompatible with GM and Tremec transmissionsAmerican Powertrain is offering direct bolt-on bellhousings that properly mount GM Tremec transmissions to Chevrolet Small Block or Big Block engines. Cast from A356 aluminum which include a high titanium content that resists torque stress, the bellhousings also feature extra-thick walls for added rigidity and are individually CNC machined for a precise fit. The housings are lighter than cast iron, making it a cost effective solution for builders who are not needing SFI certification. All hardware needed for installation is included, as well as OE spec inspection covers. Compatible with OE mechanical linkage or hydraulics and 160/166t flywheel. Bellhousings and Adapters are 100% manufactured in the USA.
