Engineered from UV stabilized acrylic providing superior strength over OEMIn 1969 GM produced two varieties of marker lens and corresponding bezels. The first were engine designation style bezels with an amber lens. Big-block Super Sports, however, had an SS 396 emblem appearing at the fender between the door and the wheel wellâhence the SS design was a simple chrome bezel surrounding the front marker lens.
