Forged bolts for all enginesIf you’re using bolts on your main caps, use ARP main cap bolts. They feature a generous under head radius, rolled threads and a special heat-treating process that add up to as much as a 1000% longer fatigue life compared to most main cap bolts. They’re forged from 8740 chromoly steel and each set of bolts comes with parallel ground, hardened steel washers for accurate torque readings.
