Newest 350 crate engine from GMThe new ZZ6 350 crate engine from Chevrolet is one of the most powerful 350-based crate engines from the “ZZ” lineup. Rated at 405 horsepower and 406-ft./lbs. of torque, it uses aluminum Fast Burn cylinder heads equipped with LS-style beehive valve springs for greater high-rpm performance. This crate engine is also built using a cast-iron block with four-bolt mains, along with a forged steel crankshaft, and an aggressive hydraulic roller camshaft.
