We offer a completed, enhanced version of this panel that features formed, high-quality chrome trim. There is a huge difference between the quality of our 1968 panels and the style others sell. Panels available elsewhere use “unformed” Mylar, which are force glued into the configuration of the panel causing the curved sections of the chrome trim to look “bunched-up”. Our panel has no such problems since our tooled chrome is pre-formed during the tooling process. OPGI now has simulated leatherette vinyl door panels available to match our upholstery. The water shields are precisely die-cut from special âwax-likeâ paper for a factory fit and are designed to help reduce the damaging effects of moisture to your panels such as mildew, warping and premature rot.
