New valve cover gaskets are often the cure for messy oil leaks. OPGI has two solutions to choose from in order to keep the oil where it belongs. Standard thickness 3/16″ rubber gaskets from Mr. Gasket are a great choice for all standard applications. Also available are extra-thick 5/16″ cork gaskets, which provide necessary clearance with some roller rockers or poly locks. The extra material is a great alternative to costly spacers and is a great idea when installing new valve covers.
