These lights, also known as City Lights, Mini Lights, or Mood Lights, can be spliced in with daytime running lights, parking lights, or turn signals. A wiring harness is included. Alternatively, you can use any standard 16-gauge wire to ground one lead to the frame and splice the hot lead as desired.
