We’ve combined our expertly built factory original 68-72 Console Shifters with the all-inclusive, application specific, shifter conversion kits from Shiftworks to give you a complete installation option for your Chevelle or El Camino. The new RESTOPARTS shifters are virtually identical to the factory originals in fit and finishing work. Included with these completely assembled shifters are authentic steel base, shift handle. The Shiftworks conversion kits are perfect when swapping out your existing transmission for an upgraded or newer model automatic transmission. Each kit includes the proper shifter detent, necessary transmission brackets, correct console indicator, hardware, and the correct length shifter cable for smooth shifting.
